Empowering women as philanthropists and leaders to make a positive impact in our communities and beyond.
Six principles create successful women’s philanthropy.
Organizations that strategically employ these six principles when working with those who identify as women are achieving their goals faster, and are realizing increased and multi-pronged philanthropic investment from this critical constituent group.
These principles work, and are fundamental tenets that serve as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior. Together they invigorate philanthropy programs and solidify a program’s ability to thrive.
Hi, I’m Sallie-Grace Tate…
It is hard to imagine a more exciting, dynamic, and compelling time to be working in the space I refer to as women and philanthropy. The time is right and replete with opportunities. What inspires me about this work is championing women as philanthropists and leaders, encouraging women to use their voice and agency and rise to the call of community, and leading future generations of women. In short, it is Living and Giving with intention.
I partner with clients who want to move forward and appreciate what it means to intentionally and actively engage women in their organizations.
Working with clients to recognize the changing faces of philanthropy and embrace greater inclusion and diversity is an important step.
Culture change is needed in organizations to invite women – all women – to the table, engaging them in meaningful ways and building trust every step of the way. The time to reimagine and reframe what women’s giving means is now. Women are ready.
I would love to hear about your organization and aspirations.

Recognizing that women are leading a new era in philanthropy, I am passionate about working with organizations that are ready to rethink how they have been raising money and create new models that have women, and those who identify as women, at the center.

Philanthropy is much more than money. It is rooted in values. I work with individuals, couples, and families by guiding them through conversations and utilizing tools that help clarify their philanthropic objectives.
